New for 2019, the Shoei GT-Air II Helmet builds on the legacy of the original model with an array of upgrades. Some of the new features include a lengthened internal sun shield for better sun-glare coverage, a new "first position" shield opening for enhanced ventilation and defogging, and improved shell aerodynamics and the implementation of noise-reduction technology. The helmet is hand constructed with interwoven layers of fibreglass, organic fibres, and resin and sports an emergency quick release system.
