DUAL PURPOSE PACKING CUBE
The packing cube is a great invention; right up there with sliced bread as all time best invention. But how can you improve on perfection. The approach Tom Bihn has taken involves making the cube dual purpose by adding webbing backpack straps, then one can easily transform the packing cube into a day pack. The cube / pack is made of custom-dyed Japanese 200 denier Dyneema® / nylon ultralight ripstop fabric with 16 litres of internal room (when in pack configuration) and only weighs 260 grams.
