ULTRA-COMPACT CANON HD CAMERA
If you’ve been looking around for a high quality, small but capable HD video camera, check out the new Canon XA20. With a new 8-blade 20x optical lens (35mm equivalent 26.3mm-576mm), Canon’s just announced ultra-compact camcorder marries pro-level optics with a modern MP4 and AVCHD recording format, a 3.5-inch organic LED touch screen display and electronic news-gathering (ENG) functionality, such as XLR audio terminals, to produce the idea motorcycle touring camera. At 765g this lightweight camera will easily fit into a tank bag, ready to document your travels in gorgeous HD video, recorded to cheap, but reliable SD cards. A HD/SD-SDI enabled version, the Canon XA25 HD ENG camcorder, will also be available when both cameras are released at the end of June 2013.
