ELECTRIC URBAN TRANSPORT
With a top speed of 45 km/hr, you’re not going to use Elmoto’s new Urban Commuter bike for touring; but that’s not is purpose. This small electric bike, with mountain bike style, weighs only 47kg and is sold by Elmoto as a “new vehicle category in between bicycle and motorcycle.” A maximin range of 65km makes the Urban Commuter a perfect ride-to-work bike, with a charge time of 4hrs (for 80% capacity). The dual rear shocks are rated for 150kg total load and with a high torque electric motor, the Elmoto Urban Commuter bike looks like it could be lots of fun to ride.
