HANDY WATER PURIFICATION
Life Systems’ Chlorine Dioxide Droplets come in a two tiny plastic bottles (30ml each) and can treat up to 60 litres of water. Just mix together 12 drops from each bottle, wait 10 minutes for the mixture to react then add to 1 litre of water. The chemical mixture kills bacteria, viruses and cysts in water such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, while leaving little noticeable chlorine after-taste. For the overland or back country motorcyclists, these little bottles will not take up much luggage room and could be a ‘life saver’ for the adventurous traveller.
