YAMAHA UPDATES THEIR BIG MX BIKE
For 2014, Yamaha have a raft of updates to the MX1 class bike. The Yamaha YZ450F has a significant revision of the motor’s top end to improve combustion and performance, matched with a new ECU to enhance torque and power delivery. There is a new exhaust layout to optimise the exhaust-pulse effect and centralise weight for better handling. Chassis and suspension updates include a newly designed lightweight aluminum bilateral beam frame, developed from the YZ250F with a shorter wheelbase, and new suspension springs, specs and settings.
