SHORT FILM - THE GARAGE COMPANY

START WITH PARTS AND A GARAGE

Right from getting his first motorcycle, Yoshi Kosaka has always wanted to change some parts on his bike. Never have a bike like everyone else. Even simple changes like new handlebars, exhaust or indicators are important to making your bike your own. This is part of his “fix it then ride it” philosophy. In this interview based, short documentary film, the founder of The Garage Company is openly enthusiastic about custom bike building. He has a constant smile when he talks about motorcycles and especially old bike parts. In his shop, parts are everywhere. “Parts are the very character ... the details” he says, always start with parts, then think hard about what your custom bike would look like, rather than viewing other completed custom bikes. But first get a garage, as it all starts with having a garage.
