NEW HOREX MODEL
Retro and classic looks are big these days, especially when companies draw on their heritage bikes for inspiration, an example being Indian Motorcycles and the Burt Munro Special. The German bike maker Horex have a special edition machine, stating the “Horex VR6 Classic pays a tribute to the legendary bikes originally built in Bad Homburg.” Cosmetic additions to the base VR6 model include spoke wheels, new metal engine covers, a paint job and a nicely detailed seat. Performance wise, the Classic has a reworked engine to produce greater low-end torque, achieved through header pipe modifications and engine mapping. Revised suspension elements include a new Sachs rear monoshock for a more ‘sporty’ feel.
