500 DAYS ON THE ROAD
Inspired by Walter Salles’ 2004 movie, The Motorcycle Dairies, Alex Chacon documented his 500 day motorcycle trip from Alaska to Argentina. Using a montage style technique to present his journey, the GoPro footage is cleverly captured using helmet, body and bike mounts, along with the innovative use of a pole mounted camera to achieve unique angles. An uptempo single music track gives the film energy and the visuals paint a picture of adventure motorcycle travel through different countries. Check his webpage for further adventures.
