HELMET MOUNTED HEAD-UP DISPLAY
Nuviz’s Ride HUD is an externally mounted unit that is attached to the chin bar of your helmet using high strength adhesive film. No special visor is required and the unit works with goggles. It is rated to the IP55 standard, making the device “dust and water ingress resistant”. The HUD displays various types of data including navigation, maps and weather information. Presentation of telemetry data includes speed, travel time and distance, and communication functionality is available when paired to your cell phone along with music playback. A race track display mode is also included. Video and photo recording is achieved with an integrated 1080p, 8MP HD camera and a handlebar mounted controller is used to operate the HUD. The HUD's internal battery runs for 3-4 hours, although there is an external option to run the unit off your bike's power outlet. The Nuviz Ride HUD will be available in 2014.
