Looking more like a street or sports performance garment than a technical motorcycle jacket, the new Alpinestars' Scion 2L should work equally well both on and off your bike. The jacket is constructed from a two layer material system with the outer water-resistant shell bonded to a waterproof and breathable inner, and when off your bike, a detachable and adjustable storm hood provides extra weather protection. Crash protection is provided by CE-rated removable shoulder and elbow protectors and the jacket can be upgraded with Alpinestars' back protector Bio Armor. Venting for the rider comes from underarm zippers and internal mesh stash pockets provide a place to store valuables.
