NEW SUPERMOTO
Husqvarna is bringing a supermoto race bike to the marketplace in October, based on their FC 450 MX bike. The Husqvarna FS 450 Supermoto is powered by the FC’s 60hp 450cc SOHC engine. A 5-speed gearbox with specific gearing for supermoto racing drives through an APTC slipper clutch by Adler “for maximum control and perfect supermoto-style drifting.” Its front forks use a 48mm fully adjustable, closed cartridge design with “supermoto-specific settings” that provide 280mm of travel. Brembo provides the brakes, Metzeler the tyres.
