NEW ACTION CAMERA
Small, lightweight point-of-view action cameras are everywhere these days. For the extreme adventure action shot, one generally needs to add a tough, waterproof housing to protect the camera. However, that’s not the case for Ricoh’s new Pentax WG-M1 camera. Designed for most outdoor conditions, the WG-M1 is “[w]aterproof up to a depth of 32 feet and cold resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C,” is shock-resistant and comes with large, glove-friendly control buttons. A top mounted 1.5 inch LCD display helps you frame shots and review your videos. The camera shots full HD video through a relatively fast f2.8 ultra-wide angle lens, with the action captured via a 1/2.3 inch 14 megapixel CMOS sensor.
