New form Merlin, and part of their ‘Leisure Moto Collection’, the Merlin Trenton Riding Shirt represents a growing trend towards casual looking moto garments with technical features. The Trenton is constructed from a blend of Cordura and denim enhanced with Coolmax to produce a shirt that has abrasion resistance and moisture wicking functionality. Its outer fabric also has a water repelling coating. Additional rider protection is built into the shirt’s impact areas (shoulder, elbow, and back) with DuPont Kevlar 220 gsm fabric, along with pre-fitted CE Level 1 armour for the shoulder and elbows, and a pocket for a back protector.
