The big new feature on the just announced Garmin zūmo XT all-terrain GPS motorcycle navigator is a new touchscreen, glove-friendly “ultra-bright 5.5-inch display with crisp HD resolution.” Garmin’s motorcycle GPS is also packed with rider specific functionality including new Garmin Adventurous Routing that lets riders explore new places and routes based on preloaded topographic maps with public land boundaries, 4x4 roads, etc, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a hazards alerts and accident/incident notification feature. The unit is rain-resistant and meets military grade 810G drop tests.
