RACE ROUTE
The route for the 2022 Dakar Rally, held for the third year in Saudi Arabia, has been announced, and not unexpectedly, it involves lots of sand and new areas to race. Competitors start from Jeddah on Saturday, 1 January 2022 and race 12 stages in a 8177 km loop around the country for two weeks, ending back at Jeddah on Friday the 14th.
