JAPANESE KIT
A tenugui is a common Japanese household cloth. “These humble cloths date back to the Heian era (794-1192 AD). Worn for summer festivals, kendo practice, and even used as props for storytellers, tenugui are an important part of Japanese culture and history.” The Kiriko Tenugui Chusen-Zome Indigo Kikkou is made from cotton and the Chu-sen dyeing technique.
